REQUIREMENTS

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • IDFPR License in Illinois

  • CCCs/active ASHA certification

  • CFY’s Welcome

  • Preferred pediatric outpatient experience

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

  • Master’s or Clinical Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • IDFPR License in Illinois

  • NBCOT certification

  • Preferred pediatric outpatient experience

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

  • In-Person Availability

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Tech savvy and familiarity with Excel

  • Will receive training in EMR system

RESPONSIBILITIES

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS

  • Complete written documentation via EMR system (evaluations/progress notes/daily SOAP notes/billing)

  • Develop and implement intervention plans for pediatric clients

  • Provide potential collaborative/co-treatment sessions with Occupational Therapists/Speech Therapists

  • Complete screenings and parent coaching sessions to recommend appropriate services

  • Collaborate with team members, early intervention providers, physicians, school providers, and specialists to recommend and provide appropriate services for the pediatric population and their families

  • Assist in building and growing the clinic and team at Let’s TALK

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

  • Patient Scheduling

  • Collect co-pays and self-payments and provide information to families regarding invoices

  • Answer patient inquiries and phone calls

  • Assist with the new patient/intake process regarding referrals, billings/insurance, and new patient paperwork.
